20Jan10 1st day in Ergo

This was the 1st day I used Ergo while transporting him to Vivocity. We met up with Joanne for lunch and did some shopping. He slept quite a bit in the stroller

19Jan10 Superhero in the making

This is a gift from Gavin and Karen. It's very cute on him but Dylan can no longer wear this. As you can see, he is already bursting out of the costume

So is this a push up?!

I reckon not... just lifting his head up :)

Head lift up

Dylan lifted his head again and stayed afloat holding his head up high for a couple of seconds before he slumped down. That was left to right, then he did it again while turning his head from right to left, while on tummy. After that he decided to just lap his tongue on my bedsheet. His neck seems to be pretty firm now, I can't wait to use my Ergo! Nevertheless, well done Dylan!

ONE push up today

Dylan managed to do ONE push up today. I put him on tummy and he slumped and lie on the bed. After awhile, he pushed himself up and cooed a bit. Then he slumped down and started to whine... hehehee

Jab Jab

I woke up this morning and decided to bring Dylan to Dr Khor to check on his nose. Past few days he was spitting up milk (partly my fault) even after a big burp and he was snorting quite a bit. My mum and I went together. Before Dr Khor started her serious checks, she went looking at his eyes and said, "Hey, he has browner eyes than Shawn and big eyes too". After that she checked his nose, hear his breathing and said he's fine, just a little stuffy up there in the nose. It would probably take 6months before it all goes off. So I asked if he could take the jab today. She said well, yes he is fit enough but having him to take 2 jabs at one go could leave him traumatised. So she said she would decide once she jab him the 1st vaccination. Firstly he had a suppository up his butt for prevention of fever. Then he had the Rotavirus oral vaccination. Then he had the 1st jab on the right buttock. He squealed a little and then came the 2nd jab on his left buttock which left him screaming away. It wasn't the pandemonium scream but I got the pacifier ready and stuffed in and he was quiet after a few seconds. What a relief! Dr Khor and I went like, "Ok, very good boy. That's all for today"

After a quick lunch at ToriQ while Dylan knocked out after the jabs, we went shopping from Paragon to OG. Mom got her CNY clothes and shoes, while I just walked around and realised I haven't been to that area of Orchard road for a long long time. I didn't buy anything except a bottle of water from Guardian and cans of milk powder for Shawn to be delivered one of these days. Dylan had his feed at Paragon and OG, and he was a good kid while we are walking around and he was just lying in the stroller, getting his nap.

He is 6.33kg in weight and 59cm tall. Dr Khor still calls him Ah Pui...

Good company, good short lunch

I brought Dylan back to my office today, as I needed to submit my claims and also pass the cards to my colleagues. I left home at about 11am while he was going to doze off. When I arrived, he was already sleeping. He slept past my conversation with my colleagues, me walking around getting my documents zapped and me walking to Expo for lunch. I had lunch with my colleagues at Subway (while he was still sleeping), yummy! Then I headed straight home. Dylan finally woke up after 2hrs of nap in the sarong from 11am to 1pm. When I got home, he began to whine and cry, so it's milk time. After milk, we had a little conversation and not that he understood what I was saying, neither do I understood what he was cooing. I put him into the cot for cot mobile time. Then he called out "Ei!" as usual... and so I popped in the pacifier. For a couple of times, the pacifier dropped and he grumbled and called out "Ei!". Then he went to lala-land after awhile. Yay!

Weather is nice today, hopefully he'll doze off for another hour or two :)
